Biff Watson

Born and raised in Virginia, Biff has been involved since 1971 in the Nashville music industry as a session musician, producer, writer and publisher. He has been featured in Guitar Player, Guitar World and MIX magazines and is a two-time Academy of Country Music nominee for Guitar Player of the Year. Biff serves on the Board of Directors of the Country Music Association, and is a Trustee of Local 257 Nashville Chapter of the American Federation of Musicians. In 2015 Biff was named Musical Director of the Country Music Hall of Fame Medallion Ceremony, inducting the newest members into the Hall. He is President Emeritus of the Recording Musicians Association, Nashville Chapter, and is an alumni of Leadership Music, Class of 1997. Biff serves on the Advisory Board of The American Music Channel, and co-produces and performs the music for Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40 Countdown. He has produced #1 singles and gold albums, as well as many other records on artists from all over the world. His list of musician credits include Keith Urban, Shania Twain, Bob Seger, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Toby Keith, Carrie Underwood, The Band Perry, Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Clint Black, Don Williams, Peter Cetera, Harry Connick, Jr. and many others. Biff is married with three children and a granddaughter, and enjoys tennis, reading, gardening and the lake.
